We booked and paid for a double room with an extra bed, we were given a twin room

Our family had a wonderful stay at Hotel Radetzky, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. As a lovely surprise, the hotel staff greeted our daughter with ice cream to celebrate her birthday, which happened to fall on our first day there. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made her day extra special. The reception team was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. One particular incident demonstrated just how far they are willing to go for their guests. Salzburg offers visitors a free Guest Mobility Ticket through participating hotels. I had booked two rooms for our family of five, but due to a Booking.com issue, my name appeared on both reservations. As a result, the system could not initially issue mobility tickets for all family members. The receptionist worked hard to resolve the problem, but when we had to leave to catch our bus to Salzburg, the issue was still pending. To our surprise, after successfully solving it, the receptionist actually came running to find us before we boarded the bus so that he could let us know the tickets had been issued for every member of our family. That level of dedication was truly beyond the call of duty and speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to its guests. The combination of warm hospitality, genuine care, and outstanding customer service made our stay memorable. Thank you to the entire Hotel Radetzky team for helping make our family holiday so enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again — but this time, in Winter.

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. We visited St. Gilgen during an unusually hot summer heatwave, and the rooms became quite warm, especially at night. Under normal weather conditions this may not be an issue, but during periods of extreme heat, air conditioning would greatly improve guest comfort.

Die Lage ist super, das Personal freundlich und das Zimmer war groß.

Für den Preis hätten wir uns beim Frühstück deutlich mehr erwartet. Und die Einrichtung im Zimmer war insgesamt eher billig.

Schade, dass der Balkon im 2.stock nicht sehr einladend war und genutzt werden kann. Und das abstellhäuschen für die Räder könnte man auch verschönern und etwas aufräumen. Im Badezimmer wird man vom Nachbarhaus gesehen, Vorhang oder Fensterläden wären angebracht. Und schade, dass man um 6:45 Uhr morgens vom Landwirt zum Blumengiessen am Haus schon geweckt wird.

Velmi malá koupelna

Sehr zentral mit freundlichen Personal, großzügiges Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir konnten unsere Fahrräder trocken unterstellen und aufladen.

Leider kein Fahrstuhl, Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage, keine eigenen Parkplätze, aber 200m weiter waren öffentliche Parkplätze vorhanden.
