The accommodation was clean, tidy and well stocked with all the essentials. The food at the restaurant was amazing, both for dinner and breakfast. All staff we met were friendly and very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

The standard of the accommodation was excellent with thoughtful little touches such as complimentary toiletries, water and even biscuits cooked by the chef. There was plenty of teas, coffee etc in the room unlike other places I’ve stayed that normally restrict you to one tea or coffee each! All of the staff were warm and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We ate there in the evening as well as for breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. Just one thing to note is that getting a taxi to go out in the evening is quite expensive due to the location. We drove in the end so this wasn’t an issue for us.

The rooms are in a single storey stone built building next to the pub and are absolutely lovely and everything in them looks brand new. Ideal for anyone who doesn't want internal stairs to navigate, they have level access straight from the carpark looking out over a nice flower bed. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal, my husband said the lasagne was the best he's ever eaten and my sea bass was excellent.
