The Wanderlust Hotel

Our accommodation was clean and spacious. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Great location in the centre of town, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and plentiful parking just across the road.

Shortage of storage for clothing. Suggest that as part of the the restoration project owners provide a chest with drawers for clothes.

No return to serving breakfast since Covid restrictions yet, but hopefully they will be able to bring it back as we heard it was fantastic. A coffee and tea station was set up on the upper floor. They were very kind and set up a Kurig for our room since my husband was unable to do stairs at our visit. They answered our questions and must sees in the area, very helpful and accommodating. It was a great hub to explore Sturgeon Bay and easy to access and explore the peninsula of Door County. Enjoyed the early morning and evenings sitting on the porch. Lovely sitting room to meet with others if you want get out of your room.

I was disappointed at first as I read former reviews and was wanting a bed and breakfast - new owners a few months back- so no longer serving breakfast. However my disappointment quickly faded when I walked into the room.

NO food service. Very quaint and good location near 3rd street, although I wasn't that impressed with "3rd Street". Jacuzzi in the suite. Free parking in the front. Nice young couple recently bought it and are working on it,

Watch your head if you are tall--low corners/ceiling in parts of the suite. Needs a waste basket on the lower living room area. Nice walk in shower but could improve the water pressure. Whole building needs to be repainted.

Even though we chose this location from online searching, we could never had imagined our rooms would be this wonderful. The cleanliness of the entire building was outstanding, we had help with carrying our luggage into our room, and Ben's always making sure we were well taken care of made our stay very relaxing.

The only thing I would say we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer! We probably won't be back in this area in the foreseeable future but if we do, we will be here!
