Very cute hotel, beautiful garden, helpful staff and a lot of interesting visits can be planned with them. Best place in Porto Novo for sure. Have already been there several times over the past 5 years and was never disappointed.

Very charming place, a little oasis of peace. The staff is outstanding, very kind and going above and beyond to satisfy needs. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant is good

Ouadada is the best play to stay in town! Extremely kind and helpful staff - who speak good English (yay, what a plus when your French is dismal!) The facilities are all new and spotlessly clean, thoughtful placement of desks on one’s patio to work, the hot shower is a welcome surprise ! The restaurant serves fresh and delicious food and a lovely place to sit with a refreshing cucumber-gingembre juice in a peaceful environment. And if you happen to be there during a cultural event or music performance- you are in luck 😊

The hotel is brand new, the room very clean with modern, new furniture. I loved the bathroom. Spacious and super clean. The whole place is artistic with very welcoming staff. They want to do their best to make you feel comfortable. I enjoyed the peaceful garden with a hammock! This is the only place I'd recommend to stay when visiting Porto Novo.

Staff were very polite and extremely helpful, food was delicious, room was immaculate, common areas were beautiful. Highly recommended

Very much nothing.

The location was nice and we had a overall nice stay but the room had a strong smell of urine… Also, the breakfast was really basic and the food too oily unfortunately. Then we went to an excursion to the black river with on of their recommended guide and at first we were surprise because it wasn’t the guide we met the day before who showed up. Then, we went through the market and village of Adjarra next to Porto Novo. The way from the matket to the nature/black river location was full of plastic on the floor and we could see how long it actually stayed there. The plastic was incrusted in the soil and mud. On the way to the village we thought that would be a private guide tour (what we booked and pay) but that wasn‘t the case, we needed to wait for some extra tourists to take the canoe. At the market and at the village all the children and some woman where screaming „Yovo Yovo“ at us what means „white people“ in Foan, that wasn‘t enjoyable and we actually found it difficult to finish the visit. Anywhere the guide was stopping us we were encouraged to buy something from the people of the village. That wasn’t pleasant at all and finally while visiting the Family house in the village we didn’t feel welcomed by their looks. Again, really uncomfortable… At the end to finally take the road back to Porto Novo the guide took a road were there was a ceremonial vodoo event. Men were shouting at me because as a woman I wasn‘t allowed to be there… I needed to fully hide my head and body under my jacket in order to go through their area with our own car… The only pleasant moment was when we were on the river between nature and calmness otherwise the rest wasn‘t enjoyable.
