Really enjoyed our stay here. Very well run friendly hotel. Breakfast was really good. It was different every morning. We had pancakes one day, Dahl curry another, eggs etc another. The man making the breakfast was always friendly and made breakfast when you wanted it Love the huge tree that the house is built around Rooms are great Himmafushi is quiet but feels more local than many islands. I mean this in a good way. There is a Bangladeshi run street restaurant just around the corner which is really good, the shipyard to explore, a decent bikini beach, a street with parrots outside, little souvenir shops, family run bakeries and ice cream shops, the sound of the call to prayer. A good local experience

Property is really clean and comfortable, room is equiped with ac and fan. Bathroom was modern and always with hot water.

- a lot of mosquitos - himmafushis beach is not one of the nicest but ig you want to go surfing the island will be perfect

The guest house is disgusting. - No shampoo, no soap or anything to clean yourself. Was told need to go to the supermarket to buy ourselves. - Room floor was filthy, floor not marble as listed, no TV as per the listing. Infact where the TV was supposed to be there was an exposed outlet with a hole through to the next room. - There were dead insects all over the place - Towel was not clean and smelled badly of smoke - There was something that looked like blood on the window - Shower unit looked like it was pulled from the trash. Look at the photo... No wonder no soap was provided, nobody will use a shower in this condition. - Heavy paint smell throughout the building. Sorry but this is one of the worst guest house I stayed in 20 years of travel and I've no idea how it is so highly rated on here. I feel like we were scammed... We left next day and had to go to another place at our own cost. Booking did nothing to refund or resolve this either. Truly dissapointing experience.
