Hotel Villa Magnolia

Nice room for breakfast.

Parking is extremely limited. A small car park for max 5 cars at rear of property and a few very tight parking spaces at the front (so tight it was difficult to open the car doors). The staff advised we park in a small public car park 100 m down the road. This was very inconvenient given we have 2 children under 3yrs, and made packing and unloading the car hard work. I would not recommend if you have small children or mobility problems. The staff also appeared unable to manage the fact that there was more than one booking under the same name (our extended family were staying having made independent bookings to attend a family event). When it came to check out the staff tried to charge us the wrong amount as they had mixed up the room bills. I pointed out that it wasn’t my bill but they bullied me into paying the more expensive bill rather than acknowledging it was their mistake. Most unpleasant to deal with.

Lovely staff and wonderful breakfast. The surroundings were great. Having a car to explore was worth it. Close to shops and restaurants. Loved meeting the resident cat.

breakfast buffet was exceptional. The sitting area for breakfast extremely beautiful and inviting. room very clean, bathroom very clean; I loved the shower; water pressure was perfect and bed very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff Surrounding are of the hotel was gorgeous for walks -- the hotel itself I believe is a hidden gem--

I loved everything..

I always stay at this hotel in Roedermark when I'm visiting my most important customer, I have tried several of the other hotels and this place is definitely the best. I think it's the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, the rooms are a little dated perhaps but they're very comfortable. Breakfast is always wonderful with open views across the surrounding fields and there's even a bar in the evening with an honesty system to pay for your drinks.

Location is the main drawback as the hotel is a little out of the way, having said that, you do get the lovely views at breakfast because of this and it's only a 15 minute walk into town or in the opposite direction to the fabulous restaurant at the tennis club.
