Hotel Doña Isabel

Really good little hotel, can’t understand how it is only 1 star?! All staff were polite and friendly, spoke good English, room was really clean, tidy, well presented as well as the whole hotel in general. Must have been 5 minutes taxi from the airport (if that!). Bus top directly opposite as well as a handy train station (Torrellano) about 7 mins walk from the Hotel which could take you to Alicante itself or the opposite direction towards Murcia. Quite little town with all the shops, supermarkets & amenities you could need. Would highly recommend as an overnight stopover or for a few days if your looking for quick and easy way into Alicante.

Having to hand if hotel key card every time you leave hotel but other than that, nothing to note.

The room was fine just for one night. The main thing is that it is a good location for getting to and from Alicante Airport.

Grei beliggenhet hvis man skal ta et tidlig fly. Taxi til flyplassen er dyrt men det er bare 5 minutter kjøretur.

Hotel was very conveniently located for travel to Alicante airport, and for nearby cafes and restaurants.

Our room was at the front of the hotel, facing a busy road. As a result, we had a poor night's sleep, due to traffic noise. We mentioned this at reception, in the morning, and were told that for an extra 10 euros we could have booked a 'superior' room, located at the rear. We shall certainly use this hotel again, and will gladly pay the extra 10 euros, to guarantee a la full night's sleep.

Helpful about our exceptionally late arrival - 24 hour reception. Clean, cool and comfortable. Close to Alicante airport but quiet. Very good breakfast available in adjoining restaurant.
