Hotel Villa Paraiso

It was nice to have a pool, given the temperatures. The breakfast portions were generous but not cooked to western tastes. Very poor coffee for a country with the best in the world! Free filtered water was appreciated. Very clean.

Staff were not particularly friendly. It seemed like they didn't really want to be helpful or attempt to provide any information. Maybe their lack of English and our poor Spanish didn't help. However in other hostels we have not experienced this attitude. Initially they refused to let us use the 'shared kitchen' in case we left it dirty. On contacting their boss they reluctantly agreed. Disappointing. They are not environmentally aware. Small bottles of shower gel and moisturiser, changed our towels when we specifically requested our room be left with the notice on the door, which they ignored.

the host Lily is soo friendly and helpful, I really appreciated that. She helped me organizing a tour to the desert with an amazing guide, I could stay one more night without problems and also the rest of the staff is really nice. the room was clean and the bed comfortable, it has AC, breakfast included and there is also a pool. I definitely recommend staying here!

The breakfast was hot and delicious. Ready upon request. The grounds were manicured well. The pool looked great, but didn't have a chance to get in.

No hot water.

It's a very clean and well maintained property. The rooms are small but have everything you need, in the communal area there are hammocks and the pool has lounge chairs.

As all the rooms face the shared patio you can hear the noise from other guests.

Good location and price. Convenient for one night or two while visiting tatacoa.
