Alpenhotel Bergzauber

Beautiful hotel with an excellent friendly staff. Breakfast was great with many options and the location was also convenient to many of the local attractions, but secluded enough to have some peace and quiet if you wanted.

I liked how personable the folks were who own and run this hotel. Really made my son and I feel like we were family. Food was exceptional! I would definitely go back!

The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. The breakfasts were plentiful and beautifully presented. I was made to feel welcome despite being the only non-German staying. Despite what it says on Booking.com, evening meals are available - they cannot be pre booked as a half board option but you can chose your meal at breakfast time so it is ready in the evening. The views are excellent - I had a lovely evening watching the sunset over the mountains from my balcony. If you are there on Grill Nacht, make sure you go - great food and an enjoyable evening - though you need to be able to enjoy traditional Bavarian music!

It is not in Berchtesgaden but in the village of Obernau, higher up the mountain. On the plus side, everywhere is easily accessible with a car, especially the stunning views from the Rossfeld Panorama Strasse

Sehr nettes Personal, super Service und Ausstattung.

Beautiful location, very stylish house with comfortable rooms. The extra activities which the owners were host e.g. bbq night with live music, alpine hiling were absolutely amazing. The hosts were super friendly and caring, so the rest of the staff. The rooms are clean and very comfy, includinf an extra comfy huge bed. The breakfast was fantastic with many options, every day a slight twist and very fresh local products.
