Hotel Riad Bahammou

Everything was incredible - the room, the pool, the food, the shisha, the view and the vibe. But Said was really the star of our stay. His name means Happy and it couldn't be more accurate - Said picked us up and immediately fixed our bad moods with joyful conversation and unrivaled customer service. We felt so cared for at Ba Hammou. I plan on returning to Morocco with my mom and will definitely be coming back to swim in the Dades Gorge - I would go far out of my way to stay at this Riad again. Some further details because our stay was SO good: We ended up at Ba Hammou because we were very unhappy with the hotel our tour put us in. We called Ba Hammou and Siad picked us up within 5 minutes and went to great lengths to make us comfortable. Said helped us with our (very heavy) bag and we took some time to sit by the gorgeous pool before dinner. The view is *breathtaking* and although the riad is technically on the main road, you do not see or hear the cars because of the brilliant layout of the hotel. We enjoyed watching dusk creep onto the rocks as nightfall came and the morning light highlighted the gorgeous red of our surroundings in a surreal way. Both our dinner and breakfast were incredible - three types of homemade jams with breakfast and probably the best apricot preserves we've ever had. Our dinner was delicious and served in three courses with tea/coffee and a creamy crème brûlée. What's more, after dinner, Said set us up with shisha on the rooftop patio; we got comfortable and laid down to smoke and wind down after a very long (and disappointing) tour. Said's warm welcome and Ba Hammou's serene environment made us forget our terrible tour and we learned more from Sied about Morocco and the Berber people than from any of our guides. I cannot recommend this place enough and am looking forward to the next time I can come and stay here.

Très bon petit déjeuner copieux à part le café dont ce n'est pas leur spécialité. Servi avec le sourire, et assis devant un décor incomparable, nous avons beaucoup aimé.

C'est un hôtel plus "gros" que je le pensais avec de nombreuses chambres alors que j'aime davantage les petits Riad familiaux. Ce n'est pas un problème comme tel mais j'imagine en haute saison que cela doit être très occupé. Comme la piscine est petite, elle doit être très achalandée. Dernière chose, c'est un hôtel tout en hauteur... avec beaucoup de marches. Cela n'a pas été un souci pour nous mais pour ceux qui ont plus de difficultés à se mouvoir, cela pourrait représenter un défi.

10/10 would recommend. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one. The most beautiful hotel we’ve visited. Big shoutout to Said and his crew. Always friendly always smiling. Very helpful with anything basically. When we arrived they were already coming to our car to help with our bags. We had booked two rooms for four persons but we saw that there were two kingsize beds in the rooms so we asked if it was possible to cancel one. That was no problem without any extra costs. We asked if we could stay an extra night. That was also possible. The food was the best we had in Morocco. Close to fine dining. Only 400dhm for four persons (they didn’t charge the kids so basically 200dhm per person. But for the quality you get still a bargin. They gave bottles if water every day. The rooms are big with a fridge and a balcony with a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious. Because of the long trip ahead we decided to cancel the extra night to have an extra stop. Also no problem and still smiling. Thanks to Said and the crew

Odlična lokacija v dolini Dades, s čudovitimi razgledi. Sobe so velike in čiste, hrana pa zelo okusno pripravljena in postrežena. Osebje zelo prijazno, gostoljubno in ustrežljivo. Izpolnili so vsa naša pričakovanja in še več. Poskrbeli so tudi za pristno berbersko glasbo. Bilo je fantastično, priporočam obisk.

It was spacious, scenic and perfectly clean. The rooms were inviting, and the bedding was new and fresh. Everything smelled amazing! The dinner was delicious and the service was efficient and hospitable. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Dades region. It was the highlight of our tour of the area.

Nothing. My only complaint is that I had to leave.
