We have recently tried a few hotels in the Alpe de Siusi region, but in the end we always come back to the Hotel Alpenflora. They offer the best hospitality in the area. The level of service and food is on the highest standard.

Absolutely fabulous find through a personal recommendation. The hotel is just out of town, but walkable, and a short transfer to the lift for skiing. The food was fabulous, the team just so very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be going back. The spa and outdoor pool are just the icing on the cake after a days skiing. What a great team.

We were here for the first time, for four days of active and intense hiking in the mountains. Kastelruth is an ideal point of departure, situated right under the Seiser Alm. The hotel offered all the comfort we needed, but nothing more. A middle class hotel catering for a fixed group of mostly Italians. Good value for money - but we would hesitate to come back.

We stayed for one night at the end of the season and enjoyed very much our stay. The spa area is incredible: on two floors, it includes an outdoor heated swimming pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas, salt bath and even a 'relax' area with real beds. By far the most varied and fun spa I experienced in the area. Service was excellent, food was very good and the place is spotless. However, for the price, I would have expected some luxury and we struggled with that. The rooms and all other areas are in the traditional style and well kept, but possibly a little dated. Our biggest disappointment was the bathroom: very old set, bath was chipped, white-yellowed plastic accessories everywhere, old brown towels and no toiletries except for some soap/shampoo in plastic dispensers attached to the wall. I would not say it's worth a complain, but we honestly didn't think it matched our expectations for such a high price.

This hotel really has the wow factor, the location goes a long way to help this, however the rooms, food, service and small attentions to detail really do enhance the experience. Details such as a daily leaflet put on your table each day, in our language, with the menu, weather and some local info, along with a personal welcome from the owner really impressed me and I cannot recommend it highly enough and would very much hope to return.
