"Cheap and basic."

The price - which was the prime reason for booking. A couple of nights required for a small group of friends. Though not cheap, relatively for the time of year and location, certainly it was lower cost than most of the available later booking options

Room ventilation - small window opening for large window meant stuffier than it needed to be. No breakfast on offer Overall feel

"It provided very basic accommodation, without food, for a brief stay, but that was all."

It was cheap, but breakfast was not provided. There was nothing to particularly "like" about it.

No breakfast It appeared that we were the only guests staying in quite a large hotel, which appeared to be more of a pub bar for a few locals. However, the few other possible places to stay in the area were either booked or too expensive for us.
