Alam Kita

Het gehele plaatje klopt. Er is altijd wel ergens commentaar op te leveren, maar bij Alam Kita valt alles mooi samen, is er de juiste balans: rust en tegelijk activiteiten die je nooit meer vergeet, zoals de privé tour met lokale vissers naar koraal en eten op onbewoond eiland. Het helemaal passende heerlijke ‘simpele’ eten. De vriendelijkheid van Margo en haar team. De heerlijke huisjes met buiten- badkamer en zonder airco: is ook helemaal niet nodig en wel zo stil!

Niets. En als er iets is, even vragen.

Alam Kita voelt als een familie waar je tijdelijk in wordt opgenomen. De plek is een oase van rust, omringd door de zee. De mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en warm. Je wordt volledig ontzorgd; boot tickets, taxi en scooterhuur werden allemaal vanuit Alam Kita geregeld. Vanaf de steiger kan je gelijk heel mooi snorkelen. Ook de ligging op het eiland is perfect. Dichtbij sunset beach, kort scootertochtje naar het stadje of andere stranden, maar buiten de hectiek. Je kan aangeven of je mee eet met de lunch of avondeten. Je weet meestal niet wat je krijgt, maar het is altijd lekker en vegetarisch was geen probleem.

Tout. Le calme le lieu le personnel très à l'écoute pour toutes questions. Les repas sont très bon mais pourraient être un peu plus variés

From the beginning to the end we really enjoyed our stay. Not just the people there are great but the whole island is just amazing. Make sure to do a snorkeling island hopping tour or take the SUB to explore the amazing under water world.

A little bit more veggie/vegan options would have been great.

Great place with an excellent team that made our stay magical! Great thing is that you can easily have good breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort such that you can fully relax and enjoy the different activities they offer (strongly recommend the private snorkeling tour and the visit to the turtle sanctuary) So simply put, it is paradise! 🌴

Alam Kita is idyllic. It's been designed and created to make you feel at one with nature from the moment you step into the property. You may see monkeys, you'll definitely see a goat, and you'll hear all the things to remind you that you are in the middle of a protected national park. The lapping of the ocean and the fish jumping from the stunning, long jetty. The myriad of birds in the trees. Bats at night. If you're looking to get away and submerge yourself in a sound and visual bath, this is the place. Island hopping, snorkelling, diving, and even hiking, can be arranged by the friendly and efficient staff working for owner Margo. As well as the usual retreat things if that's what you're in to (yoga being one of many wellness activities), I recommend this piece of paradise if you make the effort to get to Karimun Jawa (and I think it's well worth it). Great having filtered water available for re-filling drink bottles. A tasty breakfast whereby my gluten free diet was catered for as much as possible.

This is nit-picking and comes with the territory in the tropics and hard to avoid, but due to the humidity, the room and bedding were a little damp. Half day scooter hire options would be awesome.
