Niyana Oaxaca

El complejo en sí es bastante agradable, la decoración, el espacio de sillas colgantes con un pequeño estanque de peces, la azotea para poder tumbarte en la hamaca o leer tranquilamente. Tienen una cocina general donde puedes cocinar si quieres y como cortesía ofrecen cafe (riquísimo por cierto) y agua potable. Hay un frigo compartido donde puedes dejar tus cosas. La zona es tranquila por lo que se duerme muy bien. El wc es en seco, es decir, no hay cisterna con agua, sino pilones de serrín que cambian cada dos días, una forma muy eco-sostenible. La atención al cliente es estupenda.

There was no facility for food and drinks, no tea or coffee in the room. The compost toilet is a bit of hard work, it gets filled up quite quickly, but understands the concept. The room was a bit dark and no open windows.

I love this property, loved the vibe, the location, the staff are very friendly. It’s a waste free little oasis in the middle of the Oaxaca city. There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. I ended up extending my stay.

The only challenge I had was with the internet. It was a bit spotty.

The entrance feels like going inside a garage, the biologic toilets, the staff were always using the kitchen and the spaces make so it felt more of a guesthouse rather than a hotel.
