Sitthinard Grandview Hotel

The room is very clean and the view was great. Staff really friendly

Reception staff cannot speak english, completely useless if you are a foreigner. Could not give me intelligible advice even on where I could find a 7 11 or even a restaurant to eat something.. didn't even bothered asking how to go to hot springs etc. The area is not great as no 7 eleven nearby, cannot walk much around as busy roads without sidewalk on each side. Didn't like bad bathroom design with nowhere to hang towels, aircon too far from bed, mattress too soft.

Beautiful mountain view from my bed & balcony. There's a nice coffee shop on the ground floor.

Clean, modern and comfortable with a multi-storey carpark.

* Booked and paid the Deluxe FAMILY Room with 1 x double bed and 2 x twin beds but was given 2 connecting Deluxe King Rooms with double bed instead. Weird for my 2 grown up kids to share the double bed. Now I realised that I was being cheated in terms of the room price because 2 x king rooms total price is cheaper than 1 x family room price. Queried and asked if can change to twin bed room but just straight no. Didn't want to waste time argue with the counter staff, so just accept it because I was not aware that the price were different then. Not sure if they always do this to other family booking. * The whole water tap head was loose like falling off in one of the rooms although didn't bother us. * No wall hanger/hook inside toilet, just two short 6" bars which is not possible to hang spread 2 towels. * No convenience store nearby. Nearest is like more than 800m away. * There is only 1 or 2 counter staffs. We need to self help on all the luggages up the staircase to the room in our arrival and no one care. No one attended to us except for check-in and check-out at the counter. Really doubt this is an hotel. We have tried many other better hotels with very friendly and good service staffs in Phatthalung. Hence, this hotel shall be my 1st and the last time.
