Park-Hotel am Rhein - Gesundheitshotel und Residenzen

We had a really spacious room overlooking the Rhine. There is a direct connection from the hotel to the spa which is fantastic. We had a really delicious meal in the restaurant, the evening that we arrived.

Went down to breakfast at 9:30, half an hour before the end time. The buffet was already looking a little „thin“

Spacious room with nice view of Rheinfelden from the balcony. Great spa facilities. Good selection of fresh fruits at breakfast & in the room. Walking distance from the lovely medieval town of Rheinfelden.

It is a shame that we were not allowed to have breakfast on the restaurant terrace despite the nice weather. It would have been even nicer if access to the pools would be possible before 8am. We had not realised that the hotel building also hosts a clinic, so when nurses do medicines round in the corridors, for my wife, who is a nurse, it is a bit like being at work...

The grounds were beautiful and the food excellent. Lukas at the front desk was terrific.

Nothing.

The hotel was peaceful, comfortable and convenient. The indoor corridor to the Wellness World was perfect. For breakfast they brought me vegan cereal, milk and no-meat slices. The vegan vegetable curry rice lunch and dinner dish was delicious. A bit salty, but very tasty. Staff was friendly and cheerful. The dog Chiara was very sweet, sitting by the reception area.

Especially for a wellness destination, I expect at least 4 vegan options, with balanced starchy and non-starchy vegetables. For breakfast, it would have been nice to have hummus, avocado, olive tapenade and other vegan food, especially bean pates. More vegan options would make it nicer for vegans, and also support all customers in getting healthier.

Lack of AC in the rooms can be an issue on the very hot days.
