A lovely weekend getaway

We did love the fire place area the most ,but everything else was good as well.

Location and room were nice really dissapointed there was no bath thats why i booked really

The food wasnt great my partners chicken was dry i gave my dietary requirements and was told chef refused to cook my main waiter was not to nice about it quite abrupt anyway he cooked the food but i couldn't eat it as it was covered in balsamic which i dont like so i swapped mains with my partner for the soup which was a bit watery and we waited a long time fir our mains we actually thought about leaving and the waiters were hovering around our table it made me feel really uncomfortable

Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Comfort. Separate lounge, very nicely furnished. Lovely food and good wine list. Very welcoming for a solo traveller who had never visited Jersey before.

Standard of cottage excellent, beautiful decor. Plenty of space. Good outside space.

Found the bed a bit hard but that’s a personal preference thing. The pillows were hollow fill and need replacing (although the team were quick to bring me some different ones they were only a little better)
