Fijne accomodatie op een goede locatie. Vier kleine huisjes in een mooie tuin. Kamer was prima.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean , good bed. Very good style in furnitures and decoration. Enough plugs for electricity. Very helpful and lovely staff and owner lady

The room looks as described

No running water or basic sanitation. We had no running water for shower, cleaning, washing hands or even basic sanitation. Room was built in top of a rice paddy which was 6 inches under water. Villa was 50 metres down a muddy road away from the main hotel which damaged our clothes, shoes and luggage. Large dogs next door barked at you whenever you opened your door. We had no way of cleaning ourselves and had to walk 500 metres into town to pay to use bathrooms. There is no back up water source like a water tank. You are in a remote areas in the tropics with no running water or a working toilet. The room looks as described in the pictures but it doesn't seal from outside and the area is a dengue fever and malaria risk. The bathroom is beautiful but we couldn't use it. It isn't sealed off from outside so mosquitos come in all day and night to the villa and bathroom. Given this I would never recommend staying here. We couldn't clean ourselves in the tropics, had no toilet, no fridge, no water, no washing nothing. They never cleaned the room when we stayed.

We spent 4 nights in Port Barton and the stay with Valerie and her very nice and helpful staff was perfect for us. The room is not big but it has a little terrace within a tropical garden and the bed was very comfortable. The Lodge offers nice breakfast and is close to lots of restaurants. The walk to the beach with bars is also not far. The lodge also offers help with island-hopping-tours and transport to El Nido and Puerto Princesa. We can recommend Valerie Lodge for your stay… Salamat po to the staff..

A quiet location within walking distance of town. Good A/C in the room. Clean and relaxing.
