Difficult to like anything if you can not sleep normally

I haven’t slept this poorly in ages. Yes, it’s convenient that the hotel is right next to the highway, but that’s also its curse — you can’t open the window because of the constant traffic noise, so in summer you’re stuck in a room heating up to 27–28°C. No AIR CONDITION. You basically get to choose what will keep you awake: the noise or the heat. The rest you can somehow tolerate — the worn-out furniture and bathroom fittings straight from the 80s, the stale smell in the room, a pillow that resembles a rag stuffed into a pillowcase, and the constant sounds from the corridor. Not that you’ll fall asleep anyway. One small upside: after a sleepless night you wake up hungrier, so at least the breakfast, surprisingly decent for a place like this, improved a bit a mood after sleepless night
