The Ivy Lake

We loved the friendly staff; they were very welcoming. Room was a good size & very clean. Property grounds are lovely & well cared for. This property is walking distance from the bus stop, so easy for onward travel. Quality for price is exceptional. Luggage storage whilst we completed a cycling tour was greatly appreciated.

Soap for hand washing would have been appreciated.

The room was very clean, well-sized, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is also very close to town.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended My wife, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at The Ivy Lake, Anuradhapura. The rooms were large, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with modern en-suite bathrooms that were very well maintained. Dining was a real highlight — both breakfast and dinner were superb, with excellent quality and presentation. After a long day of sightseeing, it was a pleasure to relax in the room with a large TV offering apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, which was a great added touch. The location is ideal: peaceful yet just a short drive from Anuradhapura’s main historical and cultural sights. The entire property is kept impeccably clean, and the staff were charming, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A fantastic place for families or couples visiting Anuradhapura. We would happily stay again and highly recommend The Ivy Lake.

La terraza que tienen es muy acogedora. Las instalaciones estaban limpiar pero lo mejor de todo es el personal. Tuvimos un problema con nuestro teléfono y nos ayudaron en todo. Nos llevaron en moto hasta el sitio, al día siguiente estuvieron todo el día intentando solucionarlo mientras estábamos visitando. No solo eso, cualquier cosa que quieres/necesitan, te lo consiguen. Una maravilla

Desayuno, no mucho, pero bien. Nos ayudaron con los trasporte, guías, etc. Muy bien.

La ducha mejorable, si querías agua caliente, había que activar un calentador por el que salía un caudal pobre de agua, nada muy crítico pero si mejorable.
