Gwesty Gadlys Hotel

The breakfast and it's facilities are always fabulous. The evening meal, I thought was basic but satisfactory. Could be improved.

We (my sister and myself) booked a twin room. My bed was not comfortable and the light from underneath the door kept me awake. I put a pillow from my bed, in the end to block out the light from underneath the door. But then we had a bad weather and the door kept rattling. Not your fault at all, just one of these things!

Receptionist pleasant and helpful. Location was ideal, short walk to Caemes. Meals where okay nothing special, but acceptable. Room was clean and well equiped.

The bar and restaurant appears to cater for locals and group visits rather than guests. The meal we had was rushed, no sooner finished our started the main course was brought out. The bar and restaurant area tended to be noisey, not an area for a quite drink or meal. We called in for a night cap at 22.15 but was told it was last orders so no further drinks will be served. Bath in room had hot and cold water, but the shower only supplied mad hot water so couldn't use it.

The menu for dinner was rather limited Room rather small Duvet too warm, but staff provided blankets to use with empty duvet case. Why do Hotels not keep some lightweight duvets?

Breakfast very good. Location perfect.Nice room. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel view great.

Water too hot from shower. Couldn't adjust. Small tv for size of room. Duvet not wide enough for single bed.

Great location. Very aware that the staff were suffering a very sad and sudden bereavement. Despite such sad circumstances the whole team were professional and impressive.

Reception was good and the restaurant/bar was also very welcoming. The meal we had was good. The location of the hotel is lovely...has outside seating and nice views. We walked to the local pub in Cemaes Bay and had a drink there aswell.Very good breakfast!!😁

Very disappointed with the room itself which was very small and the decor very dated🙄it was clean but couldn't sleep because it was very hot for some reason! Not great value for what we paid unfortunately but overall did enjoy our stay.
