(Weggooi)oordopjes zijn eigenlijk onmisbaar en zouden in de kamer aangeboden moeten worden, vanwege rumoerige ((in elk geval in ons weekend) horeca pal naast hotel, dat in steeg gelegen is...

To give some overall context: we were six girls traveling for study purposes and this was the most affordable offer at the time of searching. The room for six has one bed in a separate room and one bed in the common area + a spacious sofa. Even though there is one bathroom, we still managed to split the time efficiently between the six of us. I have to say all of us were very happy with our stay. - The room was very spacious (more than we imagined) and we managed to fit all our luggage (all of us had checked in bags, some even additional bags) - It had a cool chair hanging from the ceiling - It was cleaned every day (apart from the weekend) - The owner of the property was always online and extremely helpful with assisting with the invoice issuance (since our case was a bit more specific) - The location of the place is extremely central (right next to Mauritshuis), which was perfect for us since we had to walk to the Leiden Uni campus only 10-ish minutes - The price point was truly incomparable to anything I had searched for at the time (I booked in October for June) and the place truly exceeded my expectations with view of that I would totally book this place again if needed.

Now, these are not really dislikes, more so addressing some of the other comments as well as just things to bear in mind if you also are a group of 6: - There are active bars right underneath the property; the room is placed on the 3rd floor (kinda), and the bars are on the first (ground) floor. While on the weekend it was loud (up until about 1 am), the other days it was not as loud. I personally am a deep sleeper, so it did not bother me, however it did affect the sleep of some of the other girls who are lighter sleepers. But overall it did not affect our sleep as much as the long duration of the days in the Netherlands during summer. - The stairs to get to the room are quite steep. This is common for properties in the Netherlands from what I gather after seeing some more steep stairs in bars and restaurants, but its something to bear in mind if you're handicapped or have a lot of luggage. - We had only one key for the room, which was a bit complicated at times to manage logistically. The doors lock automatically when you leave, so you have to be careful not to forget the key in the room (did not become an issue for us). Maybe the only thing which was a bit concerning is that the key to the room is the same as the key to the from door, meaning that other guests could theoretically open the other rooms. That is an improvement I personally think could be worked on. Again, these are more so things I believe could be important to some of the people booking, but none of them effected our stay in a significant manner.

De kamergrootte was uitstekend! 2 slaapkamers en een woonkamer voor twee personen was echt top. Verder was alles brandschoon.

Enige minpunt was het feit dat je door het geluid van de buren (café beneden) moeilijk in slaap kunt vallen. Bij verblijf op zaterdagnacht is het café tot 02.30 uur middernacht geopend.
