Hotel Fex

Wunderschönes Hotel im Fextal. Im Hotel fühlt man sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Das Leben wird angenehm langsamer. Das Hotel ist ein Kleinod mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal.

The location is fabulous - at the end of Fex Valley, it is very very quiet and beautiful. The hotel is old but well maintained and had a lot of wonderful features. We took horses to arrive to the hotel from Sils-M. It was a lovely 50 min ride which we enjoyed a lot, especially my daughter, who was allowed to steer! The hotel offers a very good dinner and Afternoon Tea included into the HB. The breakfast was also good with a nice choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We took the shuttle bus back to Sils.

The shower might use some repair.

Overall it was an unique and worthwhile experience. hotel was surrounded by beautiful nature and staff overall were very friendly.

it was sad that my wife got food poisoning very likely from the cheese cake dessert with the half boarded dinner plan at the Hotel the night before we left. It took a long time ( like 2 hours ) to serve the simple 3 courses meal. There was no other way to dine with there and there was no water boiler or coffee machine at the room. it was probably hard to get some help if there is an emergency in the midnight there. I hope our case just very rare but definitely there are spaces to improve.
