The room was very modern and clean! The staff were all vert friendly and helpful! Our flight had been delayed into Manchester therefore we were late for check in, however we rung the hotel and they let us in with no issues.

Great convenient location for our visit. Plenty of parking. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. Breakfast, dinner and bar service excellent. Room was spacious, warm and very comfortable. Even though The Merlin is on the main road there is no discernible road noise in the bed room meaning a good nights sleep was enjoyed.

I'm being nit picky but I would have liked the option of a cheese plate with the desserts on the dinner menu I'm not a sweet puddings person and I just wanted something to finish my meal - you saved me the calories!
