Hotel Valdotain

We stayed in this hotel twice during our holiday, first two nights and last three, and liked it. The young staff are very friendly and willing to help, at checkout after first stay we asked to have same room for the second stay and they arranged things to accommodate our request. The hotel gives the impression that it could be much more. There is a lot of space, large and clean rooms with simple wooden furniture, two communal areas plus the breakfast room (no restaurant at the moment), a terrace with nice views, and close to the Dora Baltea river so pleasant sound of water flowing. The town of Villeneuve is quiet and ideally located at only ~15 mins drive from Aosta and ~30 mins from Courmayeur / Monte Bianco. We would be happy to stay there again.

I would say the element with more scope for improvement is breakfast, it does feel basic and on the cheap side, I would recommend an upgrade on that front. Also, useful to make it clear to guests that savory options are also available as they did on our second stay (not an issue for me, as Italian my breakfast is not savory but non-Italians tend to have savory food too in the morning).

Expected a bit more from the breakfast menu. Only one type of bread, butter, jam and some sweet cakes - not the best option for starting the day. I get used to more northern/central European meals - would be glad to see at least some cheese/ham and eggs

La gentilezza e la pulizia sono state due caratteristiche veramente al TOP.

La stanza piccolina quasi claustrofobica. La colazione un po' misera, mi aspettavo almeno una brioche. Rapporto servizio prezzo non idoneo.

Albergo al centro del paese di villeneuve quindi posizione ottimale per non usare l'auto. La colazione non era male ma sinceramente si può fare di più, come per esempio mancavano i cornetti, di fronte l'hotel c'è una pasticceria che fa cornetti buoni. oppure un microonde per scaldare il pane. Comunque tutto sommato va bene

La sera l'insegna dell'hotel era spenta. Avranno le sue buone ragioni. E forse un po' caro.
