Despite previous negative reviews of this hotel, I found quite a few positive aspects of the place: Location - next to steps to the main village parking lot Hot shower comes on very quickly Slept relatively well Young Front desk gentleman was very courteous Very Good quality toilet paper Reasonable checkout time

Probably wouldn’t get a ground floor room again, had to take out several bugs. Don’t think wifi was available, though phone coverage was solid

Goede locatie. Hotel een beetje verouderd en niet goedkoop maar dat zijn zowat al de hotels in Alishan. Ontbijt wordt in een andere locatie geserveerd maar was uitgebreid.

It looks like Alishan Township in the reserve area was planned in a way to have most of the accommodation in one area, which this hotel is also in. The hotel offers a free pick up and drop off from the Alishan bus station at the beginning of the park area. While the hotel is dated, it looks like most are in the township. So there are some old furnishings but it does make it unique. The staff were so lovely and helpful, would recommend staying. They also have reception open 24/7.

There's no lift to go up and down so if you travel with a lot of luggage, perhaps request being on a lower floor.

Great location, friendly staff.

Room was small, could used a good cleaning and update on room decor, furniture, and bathroom - they looked liked they were from the 50s.
