Clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast which staff were happy to adapt to suit preferences. Located right on the prom so lovely for an easy evening walk.

Nothing that the hotel can change but for the information of other travellers: We were lucky with parking but it is definitely limited nearby and I imagine would be more so in high season. The stairs are very steep and quite narrow; it was hard work with a suitcase (I have minor physical restrictions).

Breakfast was awesome. Local thick cut bacon and sausage.

Parking can be difficult but we were lucky. There is a carpark near the marina though. Too many chairs in the room. Handy if you use the room a lot but not good if it's just for sleeps.

The location is spot on with all the amenities around you. Super clean and value for money. This is the second time I have stayed and I will continue staying each time I bust Wakes in the future

Wonderful location close to the seaside

Self checkin so no personnel to ask questions. Doesn't matter for longer stays since you can ask the staff during breakfast.

Great location and really nice breakfast

It was very tired looking and our bedroom and especially bathroom wasn't very clean. The floor was dirty and there were hairs and dust on around the bath and sinks. No toiletries in the bathroom except a half used shampoo which was laying in the bottom of the bath! The mugs and teaspoons looked like they had just been rinsed out rather than washed and the tray was so dirty that the mugs were actually stuck to it. We would have discussed this at the time with the staff but we only saw someone at breakfast who took our order and no one even asked if everything was OK.

Lovely location and excellent value for money

Nothing. The only thing that we wish there was staff on duty at the time of checking in. It would have been good for more toiletries.

Local bacon & sausage were delicious. Room & bathroom clean. Staff friendly

Paid for sea view. Attic room with partial sea view from 1 spot only so description wasn't accurate. Room was small. More attention to cleanliness on windows, doors & toilet brush
