Hotel Totara

My room was overlooking a peaceful garden, with lots of rabbits wandering freely and a pond full of white and orange big fish. You see the fish at the entrance and all around the hotel. It is so peaceful and calm, I love it. The hotel is also nicely located at walking distance from my favourite restaurants in town. The early morning swim in the pool was great. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh products and lots of choice. I enjoyed using the self-service washing and drying machines. The room is well equiped for a short stay.

The first day the shower had no hot water, but upon my request the hotel fixed it the next day.

Ce que j’ai détesté le plus c est le bruit à notre fenêtres et notre porte des personnes qui parlent en swahili souvent, une pièce à côté de notre chambre comme si c’était celle du rangement des femmes de ménage souvent des gens qui parle le plus dur c’est le matin quand on essaye de faire la grâce matinée

Nothing except the bar

When we checked into the hotel at 10 pm at night it smelled of smoke and it was a non-smoker room period. I came in to look at the facilities at 4 pm when I took my key while they were still cleaning it and couldn’t smell the smoke because of all of the doors were windows were open, however When we came back in the evening that was not the case and we were requested for a refund which until today has not been given to us even though we have signed paperwork for the refund not only that the team lead, front desk associate and upper level management kept us in the hotel for almost 2 hours and we’re not willing to work with us to confirm the Booking.com cancellation. Do not go to this hotel.
