Everything was ok. Nice staff, clean room.

I had to practice my German as the man at the reception really couldn’t speak English or just pretended) After a long discussion we got back the difference in money - we paid for a double room but had to stay in a single room. And we got a bonus- the receptionist gave us a lift to the concert hall for free!

We booked and paid for a double room but were sent to a small smoked single room. The receptionist tried to persuade me that the offered room was for two persons but at least admitted his mistake. We had to wait while another single room was being cleaned but finally the floor was dirty, the sheets were aged.

I booked at very short notice and was at the hotel half an hour later. There wasn't anyone at the reception desk at the time, but I called the number from the booking confirmation and I was able to leave my luggage and go back into town. Very friendly receptionist when I came back later! The room was small-ish and basic, but had everything I needed : a comfortable bed, a TV, a private bathroom with shower and everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after. No noise in the building or outside during the night. Bus stop is right outside the building - just make sure to know the departure times as buses aren't running all too frequently. Fare is 1.70€ to the train station.

It's a bit further away from the city center than I had hoped for, but connected with bused, so not a huge problem, at least not during daytime.
