The place was clean and welcoming and it was much nicer than the photos suggested which we were really happy about. Breakfast was brilliant and tasty. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Manager was nice and welcoming to the customers but I didn't like that they were rather snappy to the waiter even though the service was good. However when we were a bit late for breakfast they were really accommodating.

Such a great place to stay for a couple of days exploring the local area. The food is great, the breakfast was the best part for me. I was very pleased to see you get to order from a menu at breakfast and everything felt like great quality. Staff were really friendly too.

Simply fantastic. Be that the location, food, drinks and the whole aesthetic of the pub & rooms. The star of the show was Manager Joe, I’ve never felt so welcome or accommodated at any property before. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Charming old inn,friendly staff,comfortable bed and excellent shower. Joe,the manager, makes every effort to make sure your stay is a good experience.

Great staff, great pub, popular with friendly locals, great location, good food, clean comfy bedrooms room.

Unfortunately noisy room by the kitchen and by the outside sitting area. Its so hard to keep a pub floor clean with such a good foot fall and dogs but needs a good sweep.
