The Queen's Head

Lovely country village pub with exceptionally welcoming staff. Even on one of the hottest days of the year and in an upstairs room. The windows had been left open and a large fan was on to ensure a good nights sleep. Room was immaculate and very large. An excellent nights stay whilst travelling for business. Food was fantastic and even had a draught gluten free lager available for me as well as bottles. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely use again.

Excellent breakfast. Quiet location

More attention to detail. Bed wasn’t made second night and no glasses provided. Difficulty adjusting water in shower. TV didn’t work properly despite mentioning this to staff

Such a lovely discovery. Warm & welcoming. Beautifully designed comfy rooms. Imaginative and delicious menu.

We have no complaints whatsoever. Food excellent. Staff excellent Great breakfast menu. Would definitely recommend and go again.

excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was good but most of the meals were a bit salty but this may be because I don’t use much salt in my cooking. The staff were young, friendly and helpful and I would recommend it to friends.

Nothing- my partner and I both thought it was an ideal place for a quiet break.

Room was fabulous, very clean. Bathroom lovely and shower was superb

Disappointed with the meal on the evening but staff were great and offered complimentary dessert/drink as an apology
