Hygge was a little oasis! We loved that the whole property is only shared among 4 units, so it felt like we were at an exclusive private venue. Tess, the caretaker, was very friendly and she gave us lots of tips for our whole stay at Siargao. The cottage was comfortable and it was an absolute joy jumping into the pool to cool down after a hot day outside. The entire property is well maintained; clean, full of plants and a pool that is cleaned every day. It's located in between Cloud 9 and the Sunset Bridge, so it's a little away from General Luna centre, but we found it easy to hail a tricycle. We would absolutely consider staying here again next time!

There are a few tips to make your stay even more delightful. Bring toiletries. Bring mosquito coils. Bring battery packs as there could be a blackout which happens once a month or so. You have to fiddle around with the shower tap to get it to the right temperature, but once it's set it's fine although I wish the pressure was a bit stronger. The entrance can be a bit tricky to find, so get in touch with Tess before you leave.

to be honest didn’t like anything there everything was just ok

they should call it residential property not being an hotel , o reception there to help you no place to order food once where thing is closed . they don’t clean your room in daily basis . pressure of water is so bad

Tess was incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. Airport transfer was organised, as well as hiring scooters, and arranged a private island tour. Tess even came to the market with us to buy lunch for the tour and made sure everything ran smoothly. Hygge itself is lovely, quiet and snug, with an outdoor kitchen meaning we could order in/cook for ourselves. Location is also great, near Cloud 9 and Shaka (great for smoothie bowls). Many other great food options nearby also. Definitely get a scooter to give you the freedom to explore!
