Wordsworth Lodge

We loved our 2 night stay at Wordsworth Lodge, an oasis in the mountainous region of Mount Abu. Our room (#10) was lovely and spacious, with a big picture window looking onto the rustic garden, and a spacious patio with a view of the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed tea on the patio at sunrise and at sunset. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and the ensuite shower had plentiful hot water. The service of ALL staff was friendly and attentive. Jatinder, the manager could not have been kinder and more helpful, while professional. He assisted us with contacting the best local hiking guide, Charles, who led the way on a fantastic 3-4 hour hike through the mountains, after viewing crocodiles in a nearby pond. Shishram, another employee led us back out to the mountains for another scenic hike at sunset. We were grateful for his guidance and for the photos he took for us! Finally, I must comment on the food in the restaurant!!! Everything we ate was some of the very best Indian food we have had so far. The menu included many ethnic and western options but we indulged in their Indian offerings. We did not have the privilege of meeting the chef but we truly wish to compliment the chef. Pricing for the accommodation and meals was very fair for the value.

The property is a mixed blend of luxury with royal touch in the middle of the the wilderness . Hospitality is really heart touching, each and every staff members are disciplined and servile, the mansion is absolutely charming with ravishing views from all of the abode. The cottages are so well designed that they will make you feel like sitting in the lap of nature. The tranquility of Aravalli will mesmerize one and all.

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful location, lovely room and shower, amazing food and the staff were incredible - nothing was too much effort. They arranged a bonfire outside our room one evening, took us on a fantastic sunset walking tour and even set up a cricket pitch for us to play in the garden. Loved every second of our stay here! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.
