La ubicación, en el puerto.

Para entrar y salir del hotel, tienes que pasar por la terraza del restaurante, en medio de la gente comiendo y de los camareros. Es incómodo. Un camarero muy amable nos dijo que por ser del hotel teníamos descuento en el restaurante y nos dejó una carta para ver el menú. Cuándo lo estábamos mirando, vino otro camarero y de malas maneras no nos dejó ver el menú. Nos íbamos a quedar a cenar allí, pero después de este hecho, decidimos ir a comer todos los días a otros restaurantes cercanos dónde nos trataron muy bien.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Villa Venezia. It was very clean and comfortable, perfectly located with stunning views (I hardly needed to leave my room with a view like that), very kind and helpful staff, a comfortable bed, good air-con, fast wi-fi, a perfectly adequate shower / bathroom and overall good value for money. I’d definitely recommend it.

The only minor things I’d say is the reception / corridors of the hotel are dated in their decor and need updating. The noise in the room is considerable at night yet to be expected given the very central location. Also the sound of hundreds of glass bottles being emptied into a recycling truck woke me around 5am ever morning but this is beyond the control of the hotel.

Quirky old building in central location. Budget accommodation.

An historic building but room needs serious modernisation. Who uses a hip-bath with high entry wall? Needs a shower. Big tv but nowhere to plug it in. Bedside lamps with no electricity sockets. Not suitable for people with mobility problems. - steep stairs. Help offered.

The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. Maria, the housekeeper, makes sure you have everything you need, and the restaurant staff ensure you have a fabulous experience right by the water.

The hot water worked great until the last two days when more guests started to arrive. But even with that it was a great stay!

The perfect break in the perfect location. The staff and the restaurant were excellent. The room, although traditional, was spotlessly clean. We look forward to returning again.

Location

Just about everything. The instructions for hot water in the room are out of date and therefore incorrect. The electrics looked dangerous -- 4 items plugged in to 1 plug socket and an exposed electricity fuse panel. The stairs to access the property are extremely dangerous and if you have 'accessibility' problems this place is not for you. The shower is very dangerous -- the shower head was disgusting and hot water for the shower is sufficient for 1 shower only -- you then must wait at least 20 minutes for the water to heat sufficiently for an additional shower. We did not meet the owner -- I spoke on the telephone to him and the staff in the restaurant on the ground floor of the property tried to assist us when we had difficulties with the electrics after following the out of date instructions for the electrics in the property . The location is great and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was quite effective. The owner's comments are offensive and of course I reject them completely. I have raised a formal complaint with Booking.com about this property's safety standards.

Location, close to everything. Tour pickup locations from local companies, were just a couple of minutes walk away in the Talos Square. I was able to leave my windows open every day/night. So many restaurants to choose from in walking distance. The team running the restaurant under the Room were so welcoming everyday Easy walk to the beaches to cool off
