Breakfast was great although a bit expensive. Room was clean and shower was good all in all was perfect for our needs. Helpful friendly staff.

This is not a corporately-owned hotel, and you can tell. It simply felt more human and less business-orientated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and we had a highly enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good, with a buffet of everything you might possibly want. The Germans are good at breakfast, and if you looked carefully, you could even find hot bacon, sausages and scrambled egg as well as fresh bread rolls, ham, cheese, salami and suchlike. There's also a good selection of teas, with a kettle to hand to make sure the water really is boiling. That's a huge step up on most hotels on the Continent. One to keep, I think.

Everything was up to scratch. The only thing is that the car park isn't the easiest to get into, but once you know that it's best to come in from behind the hotel rather than off the street in front, you've cracked it.
