Hawera Village

Great location, close to main street but far enough from the noise. Comfy room. Reasonable price. Nice and quiet. Beautiful pool and garden.

Aircon was ok, not overly cold (sort of the case in most indo accom) No soap in the bathroom Nothing comfy to lie on around the pool.

if you want an extremely basic cheap private room then that’s what you get but don’t expect anything more. pool area is ok but there’s no chairs or loungers to enjoy it.

towels and sheets were stained, one of my towels still had hairs on it. they didn’t change them once during my 3 days here. room smelt a bit funny, didn’t feel clean at all. the place is a bit run down and dated.

location is convenient

there was no bed sheets in my room ( i had 2 single beds) so both were with quilts without sheets (I don’t think they get washed daily……) many mosquitoes were in my room through the night, so got bitten really bad. to be exact hotel needs a good proper clean😭toilet, shower or sink was cleaned long long ago. You can see white sun beds next to the pool in the pics… so it’s not there :) all in all I rather pay couple euros more but stay in clean and proper place.

close to town and quiet at night, nice pool area.

the blinds didn’t block out very much light, (there was a courtesy porch light that couldn’t be turned off) I was in a twin room & used the spare blanket as a second curtain which helped. also the ac wasn’t great so the only way to make the room cool at night was to leave it on full during the day which isn’t very energy efficient. I was only here for 3 nights during the superbike weekend as my original hotel was full so I imagine I paid a higher price than normal but not worth what I paid.

Clean everywhere, swimming pool, beautiful garden, kind and careful staff, big room with aircon and double level bed, wardrobe, 2 big mirrors 🫶 A table!) Good interior 👍 pretty quite and close to the center of New Kuta
