What I deal I found in Kamp-Lintfort! As a solo traveler I didn't need any large room and found at the Hotel LIntforter Hof a small room for less that €50, which was perfect for me. Despite having several guests staying, it was perfectly quiet the entire 4 nights I stayed. From that room was only a few steps to the dining room for the daily Breakfast, a nice buffet of typical German Brötchen, sausages, fruit, cereals, juice and coffee. The best part was that the hotel is located in the center of town, only a short walk from a greek restaurant, several stores including Kaufland, several Kneipes and bus stops. The owner could not have been more accommodating and even negotiated with the taxi driver for the best fare.

The only reason for choosing this hotel was its location, which is not too far from Rhein-Waal Uni. We have arrived around 6 pm to find the main entrance closed. However, the personnel unlocked it shortly after we rang the bell. Our room was located on the second floor and we've had to bring our luggage up the narrow staircase. No help from hotel's personnel at all. The room was very basic, more of a hostel type. The bathroom had major repair requirements, and the quality of toiletries was horrendous. Housekeeping staff who we met in the morning were quite rude. To sum this up, this property offers something similar to cheap private hostels, but at a price of a 4-star hotel. Note: there is a great doner eatery just a couple of buildings away; it offers huge portions at throwaway prices.

Great, clean hotel in ideal central location. Polite and helpful staff. A bit noisy, but that only due to the location. Tasty breakfast with quite an impressive variety. Would definitely stay here again.
