La Casa de Doña Cata

L’ostello è in zona super centrale, nella piazza principale, a due passi da dove partono gli autobus. La camera era abbastanza grande. La struttura è carina e la cucina in comune abbastanza fornita.

Proprio perché è in una zona centralissima la notte era difficile dormire. Accanto alla nostra stanza c’era una discoteca, per cui il sabato notte finché non ha chiuso non sono riuscita a riposare. Altro problema i vicini di stanza, le pareti delle stanze sono sottili e si sente tutto. Non hanno a disposizione un phon, servizio molto utile in un ostello dove le persone viaggiano con bagagli leggeri e in un luogo dove fa discretamente fresco la sera, per cui non è il caso di uscire con i capelli bagnati. Sarebbe buona cosa che oltre ad elencare le escursioni possibili nei dintorni su una lavagna, dessero informazioni anche su come raggiungere i luoghi menzionati e sugli orari di apertura (servizio che altri ostelli forniscono con depliant).

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was really clean and good for the price. The kitchen had everything you need. There was free pancakes and coffee and warm showers.

The bathrooms were not 100% clean all the time, and there was no sharp knife in the kitchen

Ubicación y atención de la chica en recepción. Muy amable.

Las instalaciones están muy viejas, la madera cruje mucho al caminar, no tiene TV las habitaciones individuales, los baños se sienten improvisados y no tienen ventilación. Los precios son muy elevados versus la calidad de la habitación.

The location is great (maybe to great but I will get back to that later) right in the Center with everything close by. Staff was friendly and you can book transfers and tours directly with them.

Worst part by far was the noise level. I am not exaggerating but we could feel the music from the bar next door vibrating the walls and the room. We were staying Friday until Monday so I am not sure if it’s that bad every night but it was almost impossible to fall asleep. The shower was super cold and it took ages and some tricks to get warm water (like running the sink aswell, we were informed about that upon arrival but in the end it still was what it was and that is cold). Overall for the price we paid we were unsatisfied.
