Hotel Bucheneck

Great location , fantastic view from restaurant and my room. Friendly staff - tried to accommodate my requests, including for a fan Nicely decorated entrance, restaurant and staircase. Bedroom was a fair size but the bed was up against a wall which was fine for 1 or 2 mobile people. There was a fridge . Popular restaurant and outside eating

Room needs some maintenance and updating. Side light shade is wooden and broken and gives no light for reading . The mattress was foam topped and would have been comfy if it was not currently so hot. I found tthe pillow lumpy. I left early and there was no one on reception and no obvious place to leave the key.

In einem Zimmer/Antik fehlte die Duschkabinentüre. Entgegen der online Beschreibung gab es kein Frühstück.

Fantastic location right along the Rhine. The building is freshly renovated and has a boutique hotel style with a lot of potential to become one of the top hotels in Linz. A location to fall in love with... So almost there but not quite...

Some points of improvement: After the first night, our room hadn't been cleaned, nor had we received fresh towels. Unless guests specifically don't want their room cleaned every night, this is not welcoming. Also, we were missing paper towels in the bathroom. Refilling them on a regular basis is a small task for the chamber personnel and makes such a difference. As you are not offering any breakfast: What an opportunity to welcome your guests with tea/coffee in their rooms! The water cooker was a nice start; unfortunately, neither the tea bags nor the cups made it to our room. Bonus: add a coffee maker with some coffee pads. This is what guests would typically expect in a boutique hotel at such a lovely location. Finally, if you choose not to offer any breakfast, why not give some recommendations to your guests? My personal recommendation would be Café Reinartz, located at 5 minutes' distance, offering breakfast, pastries and quiche. The personnel were very friendly and welcoming.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Das Restaurant im Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Rechnungsstellung war umständlich da wir die Zahlungsbestätigung erhielten, aber die Karte nicht belastet wurde und die Mitarbeiter vor Ort zur Zahlung angewiesen wurde war sehr unangenehm und man hätte dies im Voraus einfach besser kommunizieren können als einen erhöhten Aufwand für die Buchhaltung darzustellen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant war klasse.
