Mattress was not great

The restaurant was excellent.

Pretty much middle of nowhere. No coffee making facilities in the room.

Beds were good, clean room with balcony.

We got a very old fashioned room although there were also modern rooms featured on Booking.com - we were beside a handful of other guests in the hotel so they could have given us a better/modern room (as a service)? At checkout there was nobody at the reception desk (we rang the bell a couple of times.. waited...) and decided to leave the key on the reception desk. It was okay for one night but for our next trip we will book an other hotel.

Excellent modern room. Food was delicious.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Restaurant good and well-visited. Due to road works there was more traffic than usual. We were given a quieter room at the back.
