Hotel Engel is in the perfect location, walkable to everything in the city. The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is very kind and accomodating. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I have no negative comments to make about this place. It has everything you need any nothing you don't.

"Familiär und herzlich"

Das Hotel "Zum Engel" ist ein Familienbetrieb mit viel Herz und Charme. Ich habe mich rundherum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist "kontinental" - ein solider Start in den Tag. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier einkehren. Für meine Ausflugspläne lag das Hotel in Pfaffenweiler mit seiner Nähe zu Freiburg, Weil am Rhein, Basel, Colmar, Sankt Blasien usw. günstig. Das Pfaffenweiler Weinhaus in der Nähe ist für Weinliebhaber einen Besuch wert.

Krankheitsbedingt ist das hauseigene Restaurant aktuell leider geschlossen. Aber: eine Strauße (die bis zum 9.11.25 noch offen ist) und ein Restaurant mit regionalen Produkten in Pfaffenweiler (Reblandklause) bieten fußläufig erreichbar Möglichkeiten für's Abendessen in der Nähe.
