Matcha Lanta Resort

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour au Matcha Lanta Resort. L'établissement est très propre, calme et idéalement situé à quelques pas de la plage. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à rendre service. La chambre était confortable et bien entretenue. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour agréable et reposant à Koh Lanta.

Such a comfortable stay and great value for money. The bungalow was very nice and tidy and very spacious! The whole resort was designed very well and you could tell a lot of thought and care was put into it. Reception staff will also help you book transfers and they are much cheaper than doing it through apps.

I had an ant infestation in the bathroom one day, but heard it was pretty common around there. Area is still developing so not much happening in the evening, especially in low season.

Very sympathetic place. Nice owners. They are French and have the best tips to enjoy the island. We rented motorbikes and they gave good tips where to go. The bungalows are very clean and recently renovated. Very well isolated so no mosquitoes inside. The swimming pool is lovely, just as the garden. The beach is very close by (one or two minutes walk) and it is an especially beautiful stretch. See picture. 7-eleven is just around the corner. Breakfast is good, they bake American pancakes and have croissants. I’m always happy when there’s granola and not just cornflakes. All in all very good value for money and a very pleasant stay.

Nothing. I read some complaints about the sound of the mosque but we slept right trough it.

The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The pool area was super nice and it felt really like you were in nature but still in a good location, near to the beach but also near to lots of restaurants and bars.

The only bad thing was the wifi wasn’t great.

Csodás környezet és elhelyezkedés! A tengerpart két perc sétányira volt ahol remek bárok és éttermek találhatók! Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom !:)

Ejerne af resortet var super flinke og man fik indtrykket af at de reelt gik op i man havde et godt ophold. Derudover var værelserne meget rene og moderne.

A localização

The owners of the accommodation wouldn't let me cancel my reservation (with more than 24h in advance) without charge, even knowing it was due to a flight cancellation because of the war in the Middle East. They told me that Booking.com only allowed cancellations 14 days in advance. However, I discovered an option on the app that allowed me to cancel without charge if the accommodation permitted it. I tried again and they refused. The breakfast is poor for a country like Thailand (western breakfast), with few options and the same options every day! I asked if they had mosquito nets in the room or some kind of incense-type repellent and they told me to buy some at 7-Eleven for only 20 baht. For the price we paid, I didn't think that was a friendly response. For me, it's an accommodation I wouldn't recommend.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr nice

Es gab mindestens 2 Geccos in meinem Zimmer… Die haben nachts immer Geräusche gemacht. Das finde ich selber ekelhaft, ich war in mehreren Hotels in Thailand und keiner von denen hatte Geccos in den Zimmern

The hotel is placed in a good walking spot for beach and beds were the most comfortable so far! Very helpful and good breakfast. Lovely setting with cooling pool and lots of places to eat on the beach.
