Albergo Munsci'

A very nice place to stay near Lake Como. Excellent train connections. The hotel owners are very friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. I highly recommend it.

Location halfway between milan and como. short ride by train from Malpensa. Change at Saronno then next stop. If the trains back from Como to Milan ran later than half 10 I would have stayed here every night. Better room than the room in Como that was double the price. Very relaxed family ran atmosphere. Option for breakfast Access to biking trails nearby. A supermarket. Air conditioning was perfect and controllable Easy to find from station in small piazza with gelateria right round corner. Handful of restaurants about which would be good quality as not so many tourists to depend on to keep them open so popular with locals. Room had a fridge If you have a car parking in the square I believe is free For my needs the room and hotel were perfect. Good welcome for a weary traveller. Didn't stay long but got the vibe that nothing would be to much trouble and good advice given.

For me no complaints. If you want to be away from it all in a small italian traditional town then this place is for you. If you prefer the high prices of Milan and Como and tourist taxes then look elsewhere

The hotel is pretty close to the Rovello Porro train station, just about 4 minutes walking. And there is a nice family cafe where we used to have our breakfast before heading to Como Lago.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I was extremely surprised that I wasn't expecting much but clean tidy with a quiet location car parking was better than expected parking in the square was free from 19:00 until 08:00 with 1 hrs taking it to 09:00 ideal for a one night stop very friendly host would recommend

Unpretentious village hotel with pleasant staff, ideal for an overnight stay outside Milan with a quick rail journey via Saronno to Malpensa. Breakfast was more generous than I'd expected, and the trattoria up the road was fine for an evening meal. Bakery near station sold takeaway food for flight.
