The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the linens were nice, the pillows were perfect.

The furniture in the dining room was a total turnoff-plastic chairs and card tables were a sorry excuse for furniture. The food was okay but not I expected. I’ve eaten chuck wagon dinners and this more closely resembled food in a cafeteria. It was bland and nothing special. They need a trained chef to teach them how to make the same dishes taste delicious. The website touts hiking nearby, but when we asked, we were told only the horses are allowed on the trails. That’s not cool! It was my husband’s birthday and I wanted him to have a special day but we couldn’t hike on property (or even close) and I was disappointed.
