Cabrillo Inn at the Beach

I liked that I could walk across the street to the beach from my room. As well as being able to hear and see the beach from my room. One more thing, when calling about the logistics of our stay Kyle was very responsive to my questions and kind with supporting our needs around our stay.

The aesthetics are a little old. Also the carpet felt damp (Im certain that was either weather related or from possible prior stayers who may have been at the beach). Limited parking made me feel like I didn’t want to go explore other places in santa barbara due to not finding a parking place when I returned to the hotel.

The carpets were not clean. They should be replaced..

I travel in the area for business every month and would stay at this place more frequently, if not for the expense after Memorial Day. Typically I try staying in Ventura (1st) Carpinteria (2nd) ( only because of the hotel price differentials, but occasionally cover all customers south of SB and NEED to stay in SB; when that happens, this hotel is my go to place.

Location was excellent and there was parking on site

The walls were thin and we could hear entire conversations from the room next to us. The room was basic but clean but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Both my husband and myself kept rolling toward the center. We woke multiple times all night and were not well rested the next day at all.

The property was beautiful and very well kept. The location was perfect and walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and clean however very dated and in need of a face-lift. Our shower dripped after using it. The room did not have a coffee maker and the office didn't provide it either. Wexwent to the hotel next door for coffee and it was so strong and awful. Bring your own pot. Overall, I'd rate an 8. The people in the office and other staff we spoke with are very nice. I'll definitely stay here again.
