Caribbean Hotel Santo Domingo

Hice una reserva para dos noches en este hotel. En línea, el costo por noche era de 683 pesos con impuestos incluidos, pero por la primera noche el hotel me cobró 800 pesos y por la segunda querían cobrarme 1500 pesos, así que solo me quedé una noche. No hay forma de pagar en línea ni por adelantado; tienes que pagar en efectivo, lo cual está bien si el precio fuera el mismo. En realidad, no llevaba suficiente efectivo conmigo para pagar esos precios inflados. Cuando llegué al hotel, estaba sobrevendido, algo que parece ocurrir con frecuencia, y terminé hospedándome en el Hotel Renacer, donde no proporcionaban toallas, aire acondicionado ni ventiladores para usar en la habitación. Tenían WiFi, pero probablemente solo funciona en el 20% de las habitaciones y en el lobby. En mi habitación solo funcionaba en un lado del cuarto. La habitación sí estaba limpia, y ellos pagaron el mototaxi para llevarme al otro hotel. No había gimnasio ni piscina, aunque el hotel en el que probablemente terminarás hospedándote sí los anuncia en línea. I made a reservation for two nights at this hotel, online the cost of a night was 683 pesos including taxes, but for the first night the hotel asked for 800 pesos, and for the second night they asked for 1500 pesos, so I only stayed one night. There's no way to pay online or in advance you have to pay with cash, which is fine if the price is the same I didn't actually have enough cash on me to pay the inflated prices. When I arrived at this hotel it was overbooked which they seem to do regularly and I ended up staying at Hotel Renacer which didn't provide towels, AC or fans for use in the room, they had wifi which probably works in 20% of the rooms and in the lobby. It worked on only one side of my room. The room was clean though, and they paid for the mototaxi to go to take me to the other hotel. There was no gym or pool which the hotel you will probably end up staying at does advertise online.

El precio que tuve que pagar en efectivo no era el mismo que el de mi reserva en Booking.com; querían cobrarme entre 200 y 900 pesos más por noche. Además, la puerta de la habitación que me dieron era tan pequeña que no podrías pasar a menos que fueras delgado. Faltaban muchas cosas, como aire acondicionado, ventilador, toallas y desayuno. Cuando llegas, simplemente te dicen que canceles tu reserva si no quieres pagar los precios más altos, en lugar de avisarte con anticipación que el hotel estaba lleno. Yo habría preferido saber de antemano cuánto se esperaba que pagara, especialmente porque tienes que pagar en efectivo. Aunque no hay ningún cargo por cancelar. The price that they ask you to pay is higher than what they advertise online, they ask for 800 to 1500 pesos per night even though they advertise, for 480 pesos plus taxes, which should come to a totel of 683 pesos per night, that is what is advertised. They will put you in another hotel called Hotel Renacer which does not provide towels, and does not have air conditioning or fans, and does not have running water, because you have to pay in advance at this hotel before moving there, I think this is a system that they have set up to book the really bad rooms at the other hotel. Hotel Renacer does not have a gym or a pool even though they advertise that they do online. The other hotel you can't fit in some of the rooms if you are bigger because the some of the hallways and doors are really narrow. I am a size 4 US, and I just fit. There is no charge to cancel at anytime, but I would prefer if the property would just message the guests through the Booking.com app and let them know when they book if this property is full, so that guests can plan accordingly. What's going on now feels like a scheme, which I'd prefer to have never been involved in. I also haven't showered because there was no water. Yay!

La zona, aunque la gente que vive alrededor no conocía el hotel

La habitación tenía nevera/frío que no está en buenas condiciones. Le hace falta una mano de pintura. Si llamas por teléfono al hotel tendrás el inconveniente, que si no te entienden cuelgan la llamada(creo que parte del personal de recepción es haitiano y no domina lo suficiente el español)

Somente a localização

Quando cheguei a funcionária me colocou num quarto diferente que eu havia solicitado! A funcionária não atendia bem. Não tinha paciência quando não entendia o que falava! Me entregou uma toalha totalmente molhada. Faltava com muito respeito com o hóspede! Não havia terminado de tomar o café direito, ela já veio retirando o meu prato! Banheiros sujos, vaso sanitário grudado com a pia que não conseguia sentar direito.

Un accueille très bien, la dame parlé très bien français, la chambre n'était du beauté visuel mais nous avons bien dormi
