Situation géographique très agréable, avec dépaysement proche de Lucerne. Calme le jour. Chambre spacieuse. Belle vue.

Exceptionnellement il faisait très chaud et l'établissement est mal ventilé. Et fenêtre ouverte, cloches tout les quard d'heure + moustiques.

Die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick über die Landschaft und auf den Pilatus. Das Hotel ist so liebevoll gestaltet. Es gibt viel anzuschauen und zu lesen. Eine Kapelle ist auch vorhanden. Das Personal ist superherzlich und gibt auf Wunsch viele Hinweise für Touren und Ausflüge. Es ist natürlich sehr ruhig, die Kühe auf den Weiden geben den Rythmus. Traumhaft.

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Lucerne’s center. The scenic route features stunning landscapes, a peaceful village in the mountains, and lush green pastures—a fairy-tale setting. The hotel is a serene oasis amidst nature, though no restaurants or entertainment are within walking distance. It’s simple, beautiful, with space for corporate activities, with a ground-floor bar/restaurant. The room is small, with a private bathroom and a lovely balcony, with a fantastic view! Staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is pet-friendly. Breakfast is simple.

Some observations: upon entering the room, there was a cigarette smell, despite the no-smoking policy. Smoke from balconies likely seeps in, lingering in carpets and curtains. The decor is simple, furniture outdated, the bed very low but comfortable, and there’s no minibar. As a suggestion, modernizing the rooms by removing carpets and updating furniture would be the perfect touch.
