La Collinette Hotel, Cottages & Apartments

A pleasant hotel with comfortable accommodation, good food and pleasant staff. The pool was a bonus.

It is a good walk and steeply uphill on the way back from town. But good exercise.

I had a lovely room with a garden view. The room was spacious and the location was perfect. The breakfast options were very tasty.

La Collinette was wonderful. Located just a short, pleasant walk from the harbour, ideal for getting around without a car. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent and sensibly priced. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend a stay here to anyone that visits Guernsey.

It was perfect, there was nothing to fault. This is no 3 star hotel. I would rate it 5 star.

Wij vonden het ontbijt een beetje liefdeloos en mager.

Room was nice with a very comfy bed. We had enough space to store our 2 suitcases and to unpack what we needed for our 4 days' stay. We loved breakfast with the made to order eggs & toast and always found fresh fruit and yoghurt at the buffet, which was all we needed. We loved the Colli, which also serves as the local Pub and is rather popular as an after work location. It was an easy walk into St. Peter Port and back and the parking in front of the hotel always provided enough space. The pool and sunbeds looked inviting, pool towels are provided.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, Grace was incredibly welcoming as were the men behind the bar. The three cleaning ladies who did our room were brilliant too. Delicious breakfasts and coffee was top quality!

The only suggestion I have is to ask if we would like our towels to be washed to put them in the bath. We would have been perfectly happy to have had the same ones two days running. It would save the environment and your washing costs!
