Hotel Migu Yard

The location

Uncomfortable,small beds,cold, particularly expensive for out of season,lack of facilities, old equipment.. the mattresses were in bad condition, having stamps of dust. I wouldn't recommend it

I book the room because of the pictures I saw in the site but I went there it’s not that much good Veiw but it’s ok not that’s much problem the main problem is this yard is located as a last property in that place and no lights in that place and I feel like it’s horrible place when I went there evening and after I payed that staff told me if you want anything let me know now because she said she will not be there in night and I asked there is any other people staying she said one family will come. After I go outside and came at night it’s too scary to stay there because me and my wife and my 3 year old son only. I think there is couples came I didn’t saw but for us it’s too scare to. Stay then at night I took another room and I told to my guide to stay there because I already paid at least any staff needs to be there in that yard then it’s not be problem I lost my money I’m totally disappointed for this This all are my personal opinion based up on what happened on me

To be fair, even if we had a terrible experience, I still think we were unlucky and the hotel can be a good choice. Allow me to explain what happened to us: - Pre-arrival & check-in: on the arrival date, the hotel sent a message saying that they were going through some renovations and they have to cancel our stay (without officially cancelling the booking). We were hitting the road, Internet was limited and we didn't see the message until we arrived at the hotel around 7pm. We saw the message before check-in but decided to show up and they gave us the key of a room eventually. We couldn't fail to notice there was a bunch of people having a good time in the garden/bbq of the hotel. When we were leaving the room to have dinner, a woman followed us with her car (we assumed she was the owner), asked about our booking details (without even introducing herself) and told us that we had to move to another hotel next door because this one was overbooked. We were confused and wanted to known how come it was overbooked if we already had the keys of our room. After a brief phone call with someone she agreed we could stay. Back in the room, we actually realised that it wasn't the one we had booked but a smaller and less convenient one. We used the chat to inquire this and were told that in the room we had booked the light was broken and that's why we had been offered another one (yet another version of why we couldn't have what we had booked). Later on we found out that the hosts of the complex were throwing a party there that night and maybe just wanted to be on their own, while we were the only guests so they probably preferred to try and send us to another location (which really didn't feel like we were welcome). They could have simply directly cancelled our booking as soon as possible so we could find a solution, instead of lying about renovations, overbooking situations and broken lights. - Mattress: it was a terrible one (room 13).
