Beautiful scenery and grounds

Attention to cleanliness could have been better in bathroom. Not bad but could have been better

Poor facilities, no toilet roll holder no spoons plates or side plates really small cups no mugs no Tv in the bed room no clock just all really tired sadly the list is endless. The gardens are a such a shame a property with so much potential but clearly the owners don’t care

Noise from freeway, a little tired

The scenery and grounds were absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had a stroll around the gardens, the cellar door to have a wine tasting and observed families and people solo having a drink by the pond. The view from the bedroom was so pretty and nice and refreshing to wake up to, listening to the birds waking up was relaxing too. Rooms are a bit outdated, but functional and didn’t need much. It was very relaxing. Having breakfast on site was wonderful and convenient. Breakfast was lovely, but a little on the expensive side. The dessert (peach and blueberry compote cake) was so delicious. Taste testing wine was well priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’ve never been to a place where there was no reception to check in, but it actually worked so well. The key lock system to check in and check out was so seamless and easy. We wish we had more time to try the restaurant on site and another night stay.

Pillows were not very comfortable. Water system was either super hot or cold in the shower. A lot of bugs on the roof in the room, despite the windows being closed the entire time.

A unique lovely experience. Beautiful grounds, loved the wildlife outside our room. Cafe was great. Loved the history.

It wasn’t as clean as it could have been but didn’t detract too much from what was otherwise a pleasurable stay.
